Vasantha Narasapura Industrial area - Tumkur 

It is one of the fastest developing industrial areas in Karnataka. and also it is one of the biggest Industrial Area in Asia,

It is evolving in 12 Stages, 

The industrial area is about 27000 Acers & it may go up to 40000 Acers,

Already 3 Stages of development completed and entering to 4th 5th and 6th stages in the coming financial year.

Under KIADB already more than 3000 companies registered their names and their land requirement to start the Establishments.

As of now, More than 40000 People are working and in the year 2025 expected workers are 5 Lakhs.

The purposes of the proposed development of Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area

1. To promote Rapid and Orderly development of Industries in the State.
2. To assist in the implementation of policies of government within the purview of the KIADB Act.
3. To facilitate establishing infrastructure projects.
4. To function on Corporate lines, with “No Profit – No Loss” policy.

KIADB is also taken care of by Air Environment, Water Environment, Noise  Environment, Land Environment, and EcoSystem, Etc.,
Effluent Conveyance system, Common Waste Water Treatment Plants, Storm Water Management, Hazardous Waste Management, Etc.,
